Our Retail Portfolio
After decades of success in the warehousing industry, Onward Holdings ventured into retail units at the Onyx Retail Park on the site of the old Manvers Colliery in Wath upon Dearne. Featuring multinational companies such as Dominos, SPAR, Subway and Greggs, the site has been an unmitigated success, driving forward second phase plans due to unprecedented vendor demand.
Our second retail site is at Glebe Park in Scunthorpe. This destination was transformed into a retail and trade counter development and is extremely popular. This shopping destination has excellent local connections with easy access on foot, and by public transport from Scunthorpe’s centre. Glebe Park is home to big names such as Farmfoods, Dulux and Greggs with further development plans expected to be announced soon…
Strategically located near major motorway junctions in Yorkshire, our warehousing activities are centred around East Leeds, South Kirkby, and Wakefield and our head office is based in Featherstone.
Our larger warehouses have cross-docking facilities. In addition to this, security at the sites is industry benchmarked with full palisade fencing and 24-hour CCTV monitoring, making them ideal for both ordinary and high value cargo.
In keeping with the company’s reduce and reuse philosophy, a number of the sites are located on reclaimed land, reducing the environmental impact of development and regenerating the land usage.
We are a member of the UKWA and operate under their Terms and Conditions.
